I went to this school back in 2014 when I lived in the area and I have kept in touch with a few people since moving. I would've reviewed sooner had I known this site existed! I loved this dojo! Sensei Robi was very knowledgeable and knows how to challenge you. I appreciated the 'go at your own pace' system. I am an avid runner and believe me when I say the warm up will kick your rear regardless of your fitness level. I highly recommend this place for all levels and types of people.

I've been a student of Robi's for years and I don't have a clue who Jack P is. Anyway, Fudoshin Dojo and Robi Kunkel saved my life. I was on a dark path health wise. I've lost weight, gained fitness, and more importantly, I've gained self awareness, and confidence. I was shy and timid and hated who I was. Karate turned that around. Sensei Robi has treated me like family and understood my weaknesses and absolutely worked with me in a way that took my needs into account but still pushed me to be the best I could possibly be. I am SO grateful for the instruction not just in self defense skills but in life skills.

While this dojo will teach you martial arts, the instructor is a shady man who will intimidate and manipulate others to get his way. Be careful!

At the Fudoshin Dojo the instructor really helps you to understand the concepts and encourages you not just to do well but to excel. Sensei Kunkel is an awesome instructor and I have become part of a family at the dojo.

The best in Stephenville

In Stephenville there are not a lot of places to train for those interested in martial arts. After checking out the two other schools I was able to find in the town this one had the cheapest rates, the most frequent classes and the most quality instruction.
I love this Dojo, they're philosophy and principles are great, it's a fun and great dojo!
