Reviews of Fudoshin Karate School

I have been training at this school for 14 years now, having started at the age of 11 and keeping with this throughout all of my years of school. No sport has held a torch to martial arts, and I have never felt more at home than when I walk on the dojo floor. I am happy to say that I consider all of the students there, new and old, my family, and am learning new things from them every time I come to class. It is a great experience to learn and to teach, with a fair balance between kata, self-defense, weapons work, sparring, and techniques. This helped me gain confidence and build my self-esteem as a child, working through my shyness and learning how to feel strength in my own abilities. I feel this school has helped to lead me down a positive path with my life and avoid peer pressure and negative influences, seeking to train and learn as a form of exercise and escape from the world. I would recommend this to anyone, from 6 to 60 (and we've had everyone in between), with any body type or ability. Come in, try it out, know that you will not be tied in by money, but instead in your own interest is yourself and your growing potential.

I'm am a student here at the karate school. Our Sensei is a hachi dan (8th degree black) I honestly recommend this school to everyone. This place is not like the Kobra Kai dojo at all. The school is such a friendly nature. Sensei brings smiles to our faces everytime. I love just the thought of the school. And guess what, Sensei is a girl! She is like every other teacher. She is so nice. And please don't think that just because she is a girl she can't do real martial arts. Don't under estimate her! She broke 7 six-inch patio bricks with her elbow! Hmph, that's what a girl can do! There is no age limit to this dojo. Some kids are 4 and some are 55! Feel free to come to a free class to see if you would like to join.
