Parents Beware of this Business

No!

I signed my son up for the 30 day free trial and was rushed through some paperwork that I was under the impression was a waiver, a description of the activities and the paper needed to get my son his free uniform. At the end of our thirty days, I tried several times to get in touch with Mr. Foster but none of my phone calls were ever returned and now, 3 years later, I received a summons to court. Apparently my 30 day free trial was actually worth $1500 and what is even more upsetting is that Mr. Foster also seems to be the attorney for the collections company he turned my contract over. I feel like I was roped into a scam. Its easy to let your guard down around people who work with kids because you want to think that they are good honest people, but this has taught me to ALWAYS read the fine print.

At age three my child's favorite game was "let's fight. " I knew in a few years this game could get painful (for me) so I looked for a place that could channel my kid's desire into something productive. Twice a week, my child goes to his favorite place for class. It is like Cheers, when he walks in everyone knows his name. When he walks out, he is sweaty and exhausted. I don't really know what goes on in between but it has been over a year since he started and now he gets onto me for not knowing the right moves when we play "let's fight. " Sensei B is great with kids.

I love the fact that that the children enjoy themselves even through discipline. The fact that that education is most important is what i love most also that my children are cared for.

I have two kids (both boys 7 and 10) in this MMA program and they love it, it has transformed them into leaders and they are cleaning their room and doing homework without being told daily. I cant thank Fosters Martial Arts enough.

I have been a student for a few years and can say I am glad I chose Foster's Martial Arts as my dojo. Students come and go as they do at all dojos, but the ones that stay become champions both on and off the mat. I have seen first hand students go from huge discipline problems and making bad grades to a/b students. The students that leave are student's who make the decisions because the parents believe in negotiating with them. My parents do not let that happen in our household. They are the parents and not me so no negotiating is involved.

Bottom line if you want to learn from the best martial arts coach on the coast this is where you want to go.
