I really enjoy the teaching and constant rigorous activity at this school. Everyone is taught at their level and pushed well beyond their limits. Everything that could be implemented to make one better is used very fervently. Sensei Dennis knows no limit and he trains in that manner with only one focus, to make sure one is capable of defending them self if ever needed to. If someone is interested in working out and honing themselves to be better martial artist this would be the Dojo for just that. I personally never had any problem with any of the aspects of this Dojo, everything is stated as is with no expectations other than working hard and training harder.

As a long time student of Aikido I had heard of Senseis Dennis and Jim from other students and was very eager to meet them. Fellow students had told me so much about their level of intensity in which they practiced Aikido. Once we started working out I realized that their intensity was fueled by a desire to learn and respect for Aikido. Their desire I would dare say called fourth the best in me as a senior student at the time of our meeting.
From my experiences, Senseis Dennis and Jim demand of themselves to give their very best to their students and fellow Aikidoka and in return ask for the same. I am sure that Sensei Alex having been trained by Senseis Dennis and Jim is following the same path.
Students of these gifted instructors can expect them to operate with the highest level of integrity and respect for you as a student. They will only ask that you put forth your best during each class. Learning from them will also instill a greater level of confidence just from going through the rigors of this dojo's workout.
As a side note, because they run a small operation, a student is more apt to receive personalized instructions. One on one with the chief and/or senior instructor is rare in today's martial art community unless you pay additional money for the opportunity.
So if you are looking for an effective and efficient form of self defense look no further you have found the best. Don't believe me, find out for yourself and step on their mat.

I signed my son up at Forsyth Aikido in November of 08. I can see a confidence in him, that most teens his age do not exhibit. I trust that my son could defend his Mother, should the need arise. If you want your son the be given the opportunity to be instructed by three high quality Sensei's, then Forsyth Aikido is the place they need to be.

I have trained at Forsyth Aikido since February of 2009 and the thing that comes to mind in every class, is no pain no gain. If intense PT and hard core street style self defense are what you want. Then this Dojo is for you. Call Sensei and come in and try a class.

After being at this School since 2006, I must say it is run very professional and very traditional. The workout (physical Training) side is phenomenal! The dojo Cho will surely work you to your limits! The Aikido waza is bar none very effective and you can surely see what works and what does not!
Highly recommended!

It is stressed in every class that we all need to push ourselves to our limits. In this dojo that is reality! There is no slowing down and taking your time. It is the only place on earth that an hour and half feels like 5 minutes of hell....and I love it. Very addictive! Come check it out.
I was out of shape and thought I would try this place to shed some weight. After my first free night, I couldn't walk straight for a week. I had never been worked so hard in a dojo before. Three months later I joined officially and here I am a year and a half later 25lbs lighter. I love this dojo, the instructors are INTENSE and demand the same from their students. Leadership, discipline, endurance, and highly effective self defense techniques are taught at this dojo. If you are looking for something serious and real, step on the mat my friends. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
