Formless martial arts is one of the best training methods in martial arts. Normal ma has forms which takes oppurtunities away to strike, like bruce lee said "be shapeless, liked water". Also formless ma allows ur body to be lose, meaning u take less damage since ur body is not stiff. In my opinion I preferred formless ma but in the end its not the style but the persons ability and skill level. I've trained in muay thai, boxing and kenpo since I was 5, now in my 20s I've elimated certain forms and melded together the best of the 3 styles into one formless way of fivhting. In real fights, tthere are no rules, time for form, only time to react, but with a calm mind. Body and mind as one, speed, strenght and technique will make u a dragon. I was taught u start training as a tiger, wanting to beat people up, viscious and dangerous, but after years of discipline, when u are complete, u become a dragon, wise and strong, knowing when the time is right to defend urself and the ones u love.
