My wrestling career continued past high school, and into college. I attended a small Tennessee college to chase my NCAA and Olympic dreams.
Although I was attending a NAIA school, I hoped to eventually transfer to a larger more illustrious school.
I felt like my eyeballs were going to pop out of my head.
I couldn’t believe what my little, 145 lb friend was capable of.
I was hooked. I transferred back home and began training immediately!
Remember my friend’s sister’s husband? His name was Tim Credeur. Well.. he was actually a Elite Level Jiu Jitsu Blackbelt, who studied under the direct lineage of the fabled “Gracie” family. Tim’s enthusiasm for fighting and for maintaining the attitudes he learned from his masters was larger than life. After a few rough years of taking my beatings, I began to be fierce on the competition circuit, while my peers were reaching heights in the UFC, WEC, and Bodog Fights.
There are a few more not framed that I won recently, including two medals from the PAN American Championship in Long Beach Ca, as well as another World Jiu Jitsu Championship medal from Long Beach Ca
The story goes on and on, but enough about me, what about you?
