With the positive atmosphere it makes it easier to learn everything that is being taught from principles to forms to sparring and weapons. Always on the move with something exciting to try next. My kids enjoy the time they are there.

Classes began energetic and fun for all the students. Now they seem to have became slow paced, repetitve, and boring. We have been with the school a number of years and don't want to leave.

Plenty of classes throughout the week. Testing is done every other month at Farmington. The Dojo is big enough to accommodate large classes and there is always enough instructors to provide the individual attention if needed. It seems that almost all level students are eager to help lower belts learn new forms and techniques. Very friendly and helpful environment overall.
Farmington Martial Arts provides instruction in the Youn Wha Ryu Martial Arts System. The system is a mix of different martial arts styles so there is a good variety of new techniques to learn and keep students interested. Class is usually 1 hour and is an excellent work out. I have been a student for 2 years and still look forward to each class. Training can be tailored for individual needs, such as if you have an injury. The dojang is well maintained and has padded floors to prevent injury when doing jumping kicks or falls. There is also a store to purchase any needed equipment like sparring gear, weapons, or a bottle of Gatorade.
