A Fourth Dan in Tae Kwon Do , Master Ana Hotaling is Family Martial Arts' master instructor. A Life Member of USA Taekwondo (USAT) and a charter member of its Women's Committee, Master Ana is certified through USAT as both a Tae Kwon Do referee and a Tae Kwon Do coach. Under her guidance, FMA competitors have won dozens of medals at Nationals — including nine National Championships — and countless State and regional titles. Master Ana herself is a four-time USA Taekwondo National Champion in Black Belt forms and breaking and a National bronze medalist in sparring. Master Ana also holds the rank of 2nd Dan/Instructor in Hap Ki Do, the discipline in which she first began her martial arts training years ago. She is a member of the World Hapkido Association, an international organization dedicated to preserving the techniques, philosophy, and traditions of this Korean martial art. Master Ana has also trained in Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu and Judo. She first began teaching fitness classes — aerobics, step aerobics, and core body strengthening — as a teenager. Master Ana also leads the Forest's Edge yoga program. She started training in Hatha yoga at the age of 8 and includes yoga practice as part of her every-day life.
