Eyes of the Hawk Karate

Eyes of the Hawk Karate System of Compton Te Do is the official martial art of the City of Compton, California. Founded in 1972 by O-Sensei Robert Murphy, the school continues to focus on self defense and character development, while also participating in sport karate tournaments. Together with Tim Stewart (8th dan)'s course of Urban Self Defense, taught only to adults by appointment, the system continues to offer classic, traditional martial arts training at extremely low prices. Programs & Class Schedule

Karate classes meet on Saturday from 10:00 am to noon. Open to ages 6 to adult. Senior class (35+) meets at the same time. Urban Self Defense classes are taught privately and by appointment only with Adv. Sr. Master Tim.
