Best decision I have made in my older adult life. I feel safer and more confident out in this cruel world to protect myself with the skills I have learned.

EXCELLENT CORE WORKOUT

I joined EMA to step up my workouts, to get away from the treadmills, step machines, exercise bikes. I joined a year ago and never felt better, a tons more energy, and significant weight loss. This is not only a good core workout you will also learn various techniques for self defense. The coaches and my teammates are fabulous people to work with, best thing I ever done. Im 46 years old, so no excuses, get off your butt, get away from the games and be a part of something, you will not regret it !!

I've been going to EMA for quite some time now and I love everything it has to offer. Great coaching, safe, clean environment, new mats, and great teammates. I learn something new every class, whether it is a whole new submission or a small detail I'm forgetting. Such an Awesome team.

Great place for MMA!

Whether you're a beginner or experienced in MMA, this is a great place to go! Great instructors, the other students are awesome to train with, and the atmosphere is high-energy. I love the class variety they offer (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing and boxing), each class is a great work out and a huge de-stresser. Thanks to EMA, training in MMA has become a fun, positive part of my life!

Coming in here, I was a beginner- no experience. But because the coaches are really one-on-one and the more experienced students are really helpful, I feel like I am learning way more than I imagined in such a short amount of time. I have only been training here for three months so far, but I am already noticing I am getting more fit, and it has inspired me to work out and live healthier outside of class, too. Plus, I feel like I am really doing something awesome for myself, and I've made some good friends here already, too.

Great instruction, but contracts.

Seems to have pretty good teachers. Al Verduzco hardly ever teaches though, and runs it more like a business than a martial arts academy. Contracts are n't good for any martial arts school so that's a gripe.

Positives- Good teachers, and they teach the techniques pretty well

Negatives- EMA is ran like a business unfortunately...and that isn't good for a martial arts school.

Will nicely talk you into a contract, then turn rude. Some teachers treat students whether adult or child like they are stupid.
