A good gym to learn brazilian jiu-jitsu in fort worth Texas. The professor

(instructor) Christopher Story is a third degree black belt in jiu jitsu. He is caring and is a very good bjj and grappling teacher.

Evolve teaches skills, technique, self defense, discipline, & gives great confidence. Worth the money! I have 2 children who are students there & they love it!

Success comes only after the exhausted trys and failed attempts. The basics are just that, a base, a starting place, fundamentals, a foundation. Building on anything else will result in immediate or worse, future unforeseen problems. As a child I once believed repetition was useless and my teachers gave me homework as punishment because they had nothing better to do. The extra work was given due to a lack of knowledge. Adulthood, understanding, I now realize practice does makes perfect and the homework assigned did not grade itself. Techniques are ways to solve issues, with mat time comes a better understanding and the introduction of more techniques. The Bruce Lee water analogy was on target, phenomenal. Metamorphosis into something that is able to transform itself, something always changing, fierce. Containment is possible, however, the technique will be ever changing. That my friends is JIUJITSU ! My child who was enrolled became extremely bored with going to the classes after only a few classes. I asked to have the contract cancelled 2 months prior to my contract ending which was not done. The techniques learned in each classes every week are the same and no new material is taught. DO NOT GO TO EVOLVE.

I enrolled my Son for classes, he enjoyed going. Beware the contract has a hidden auto-renew claus. I hadn't taken my Son into classes for several months prior to the end of my contract. I continued to be charged after the one year agreement, only then to be aware of the auto-renew. I called and asked to stop being charged, which didn't happen. The classes are large, but kids advance due to paying for belt testing as opposed to actual knowledge of skills. extra costs do occur.

Beware
