Sifu Argos is a very insightful & informative (as well as enjoyable) instructor. His lineage is impeccable & he has a firm understanding of the applications as well as the less tangible benefits of Xing Yi, Bagua, & Tai Chi practice. Also a great eye for the individual needs of the student in regards to a "practical" starting place in an art that could be a bit intimidating to the beginner. I have studied with Shirfu Argos for 3 years and have enjoyed the lessons, the Practice and the life teachings. I think this school has so much versatility so that some one could study here for many reasons. If you want to learn Real Internal Martial Arts(Hsing i,Baugua,Taiji) and Qi Gong and Meditation this is for you, for healing and/or Combat... Master Argos brings decades of practice and experience to his teaching. He has studied with numerous Chinese and American Sifus/Masters of these arts and has a gift of being able to transfer what he has learned (and developed himself)in ways that practitioners of any level can benefit. He tailors the training to the student rather than expecting "one size fits all" to work for only those that can sift through the training. I am soon to be 65yrs. old, yet he finds ways for me to train to my capacity. I have trained with several teachers, in several different styles over 25 years myself. Master Argos is the real deal. He also is a well balanced Human Being. He is a Master Jazz Guitarist as well. He has taught one of my daughters guitar, and is a teacher of Music. His understanding of Zen Buddhism informs every thing he does. I am grateful and honored to be his student of several years.
