I was here for awhile before I moved but I still keep in contact with the majority of the people here. It is the best Kung Fu San Soo school around. They have some of the best teachers and the best black belts in the system. These high level guys were really throw down when they spar but most importantly is there is no cockiness about it. They know they can kick butt but they do not project in a egoistical way. They also teach a very traditional Kung Fu San Soo but also incorporate a lot of modern concepts to be most adaptive street fighting art. I wish I was able to stay in the area. I always tell my buddies and former coworkers about visiting them. I recommend you to do it too, if you are serious about self-defense.

I have been coming here for a while now and have enjoyed the style of this martial arts that i kept coming back. I have other experiences such as Karate and Taekwondo, and while it helped me as a child, Kung Fu San Soo really helped me as an adult. This system filled in all my missing gaps as a martial artist and really help redefine my combative skills as a street fighter. San Soo has so much to offer, such as leverages, ground fighting, throws, takedowns, and stand up fighting. This system rivals Krav Maga and of the like. If you come here, you will truly be happy with the level and quality of fighting at this school.

My 15 years old daughter, and 11 years old son are both enrolled at Empire San Soo. They've both been training here for over a year, and have nearly 2& 1/2 years each training in Kung Fu San Soo. My daughter is in the adult class, and my son in the kid's class. There are many aspects to a great school. First, the teachers here are all awesome. From standing fighting, to grappling, weapons training, techniques, forms, etc. Empire San Soo does it all. The second thing is, there are no contracts. The rate per class comes out to less than $5 per class if you go to all 3 classes weekly. Where can you go for an hour, and do anything for less than $5? Each class, you will add to your self-defense library, and be a mean machine in short order.

I have been going here for 5 years now and have always enjoyed the people who train here. Unlike a lot of schools I have trained at, over the course of my 11 years of experience, black belts do not look down at the lower belts. Ego is gone and you are treated with respect. Great school to attend if you are looking for a combative martial arts that is relevant to the streets.
