Elite Yoshukai Karate is a traditional Japanese martial arts ! The head instructor and Director of the Elite Yoshukai Karate Organization is Hanshi Tommy Denson .. Hanshi Denson has been involved in the martial arts for 27 years and has several championships including a World Championship in fighting as well as two runner-up (Silver Medals ) that he won recently at the World Martial Arts Games in Bregenz, Austria while competing for the U.S.A. on the USMATeam ! Hanshi Denson is also one of the Regional Coaches for the USMATeam !! Mr. Scott Fullington (2nd degree Black Belt candidate) is the Assistant instructor and has been training under Mr. Denson for 10 years! Mr Denson's wife (Martha Denson) who is a 1rst degree Black Belt and Mrs. Ellen Hammett also a 1rst degree Black Belt assists with the instructing as well, all three being accomplished martial artist and members of the USMATeam winning several Silver and Bronze medals at the World Martial Arts Games in Bregenz, Austria ... While training with Mr. Denson and EYKO you will learn traditional kata's, weapons, point fighting and semi-knockdown fighting as well as some MMA style fighting. Weapons training includes nunchuka, sai's, bo (staff), Kama, Tonfa as well as the Samurai sword. We also pride ourself in the fact the we will train anyone, any age ,handicapped, special needs children, it doesn't matter !! If they want to learn, we will teach them !!
