East End Aikikai is the only Aikido dojo in the Pittsburgh area affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation. Gordon Hannah (4th Dan) is the chief instructor. He was a student of Kanai Sensei, one of the last uchi deshi (live-in students) of
O-Sensei, the founder of Aikido.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at East End Aikikai:
Monday Aikido 6:00pm – 7:00pm; Weapons 7:15pm – 8:15pm
Tuesday Aikido 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Wednesday Aikido 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday Aikido 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday Aikido 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Saturday Aikido 10:30am – 11:30am
All classes for adults only(ages 13 and up).
