The best Traditional martial arts place you can find...

When I first walk into the East Coast Fighter gym, I was lost, didn’t know anything about martial arts and was very shy and skeptical to start taking classes. I thought it would be just another “try and fail” class among so many I have tried in the past.

From day one, I was very welcomed and received as if I was already part of the gym. All of the students were very helpful, and I even remember asking John Ramirez (one of our cage and Muay Thai fighters) to help me in writing a list of names of punches, lol, it’s funny to remember that now, I didn’t even know what a jab was.

Kru Armlin and Paulo Mushu were very serious about helping me achieve my goals… I thinkt hey were more serious than me. Never let me get discouraged. Looking back makes me think about where I was and where I am now. On the very first day, jumping rope was a challenge, 30 seconds and I was out of breath. I was about 180 lbs and not very active. After 3 months of intense training, never missed a class for the first year, I was on my optimal weight at 128lbs and body fat was close to 10%. My techniques improved every day, classes are always very interesting and never repeated.

I can say that I am ready for my first fight, and am happy to have achieved so much in such little time, thanks to Paulo Mushu, Kru Armlin and all of the East Coast Fighter family, who made me feel part of it and an achiever.

If you have doubts about Martial Arts and don’t know where to go to, find East Coast Fighter and they will make you a champion in the cage, on the mat and in life…
