My company has been contracted to provide security at a school. I don't have to go into details about the recent shootings. We strive to be the best and to be the best you must train with the best. I've sent my officers all over the country to ensure they get the best training. A few weeks ago I bumped into an friend who also owns a security firm. I told him we had the contract and I would be sending my officers for training specific to this detail. He brought up a guy in florida of all places. Long story short, this guy knows his stuff. No ego, doesn't advertise, definitely not for anyone who has thin skin. He really pushes the limits and exposes your weaknesses, but not in a bad way, in a way that just makes you want to learn. My officers commented on how different the classes were. Not "business' but a true sense of compassion. The knowledge here is very deep, this guy is not only skilled but a great teacher. He just seems to instinctively know what each member needs and who is good at what. Nothing like any of us ever experienced.

With this training, we are confident that any situation we are called upon, we will handle the threat in a professional manner.

This is not a "self defense" type training, it's real, very real and I think too real for the general public. This is meant for people dealing with life and death scenarios who may actually have to do something.

No rubber knives and fake guns here, it's all so very real. ......

I trained at this school about 2 years ago, back then I thought the training was beyond anything I had experienced. I am an experienced martial artist, prior military with spec ops, now retired from law enforcement and currently involved in private contracting. This school has everything.

on our last deployment, things went bad to say the least, I found myself in a bad spot, I utilized tactics I had been shown here and without getting into too much detail, I just want to say thank you.

this training saved my life and perhaps lives of others. this is not a foo foo feel good class. it's hard to get into class, but worth the wait

I would recommend this school to people who have a need for real life training, I would not say this is for anyone seeking fitness or something to do on tues.

I work all over the world providing personal protection for the elite, while on a detail in Florida I had a few days to kill and thought I would see what bodyguard schools/martial arts schools where in the area. I visited a few as I had 4 days of layover. I must say Florida has some of the worst schools I've encountered. As a professional who is called upon to put my skills to the test to defend lives of my team as well as clients, I am not interested in fake techniques or board breaking. On my last day I found Elite Defenses, I spoke with the head instructor and was very impressed with his knowledge - no fancy store front, training takes place in a warehouse in an obscure location, he is definetly in another league, not the typical martial arts instructor. Unfortunetly I didn't have time to train but we stood in touch, after several conversations I decided to take a trip to Florida at my own expense to meet this guy. It was well worth it. His knowledge and skill exceeded my expectations by far. I currently come to Florida to train with him. His training has proved to be invaluable in the scop of my duties. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who works in the field and wants more than board breaking and a belt. Too many times instructors are teaching things they have never used nor do they have experience in the field in which they are instructing. This guy is the raw deal - tough, rough, but definetly very real. The guy you would want with you if your life was on the line.

I'm a private contractor who provides executive protection in various countries. This is for the pros, not the average martial artist or person looking for self-defense. These techniques have worked for me. These techniques have saved my life and the lives of my clients. I've been lucky enough to have trained all over the world on details, but never found the quality and real life situational teachings of Elite Defenses.

I was looking for training that would work in the real world. All the schools offer programs claiming they have the best , teach honor , integrity, and discipline... but I just didn't see it. I am female deputy. Being smaller and weaker than the people I usually deal with, I needed not only techniques that would work in the real world, but and instructor who had the experience to know the validity of what he taught. The school I previewed boasted about their real life, save your ass in a jam training, but Not one of the instructors really had the actual experience that I did, so how could they teach me?

Elite defenses is truly for the professional. The training was very similar to my LEO training, but with little nuances that really made the difference. When someone is drugged up, they explode in a nanosecond. There is no time for fancy moves or multiple striking that is not affective. Even being armed with a firearm and taser, there are many times when I have to physically take someone down. Our training is good but it is not fail safe. My time spent with Elite defenses has been most productive. My certified training is now much better thru fine details not taught in the cert. training.

Since my training I have used the techniques successfully. My fellow deputies are amazed at how I can take the crack head down by myself. We are a team, when my brother or sister calls for backup, I know I will provide efficient assistance with my knew knowledge.

I would highly recommend this training for anyone who is really counting on it to save their life or the life of others. This is not a trophy getting award winning flashy place to train. I think anyone lacking experience would have a hard time, but for people in law enforcement or the other arenas that demand the best, I would definitely send them here.

WE ARE PRIVATE CONTRACTORS, CURRENTLY WE ARE ON LEAVE, I'VE SPENT THE LAST 36 MONTHS DEPLOYED IN AFRICA NEAR THE CONGO REGION, MY PARTNERS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED FOR 26 MONTHS . WE ARE ABOUT TO GO BACK, FROM WHAT WE SAW AND EXPERIENCED, WE THOUGHT A BIT OF EXTRA TRAINING WAS IN ORDER.

WE HAIL FROM THE CAROLINA'S BUT HEARD OF A THIS SCHOOL IN FL. WE WERE VERY SURPRISED AT THE LEVEL OF INSTRUCTION PROVIDED TO US, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.? NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED, NO BARRACKS NO FORMAL DT ROOM, THE INSTRUCTOR BROUGHT IN HIS TEACHER, WHO SEEMED ON THE SURFACE A REGULAR GUY, FULL OF WISE CRACKS. A BIT SMALL IN STATURE AND NOT WHAT YOU WOULD THINK OF WHEN "COMBAT INSTRUCTOR" COMES TO MIND.

WE QUICKLY FOUND HIS DEPTH OF KNOWLEDGE UNSURPASSED. WE ALL HAVE PRIOR MILITARY TRAINING & MARTIAL ARTS, BUT THIS WAS JUST BEYOND ANYTHING WE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT,. THE FINE DETAILS THAT NO ONE HAS EVER EXPLORED. THE GUY IS LIKE GOOGLE FOR TECHNIQUES AND HISTORY OF FIGHTING SYSTEMS.

WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL, ESPECIALLY THESE INSTRUCTORS TO ANYONE WHO WOULD PUT THEIR LIFE ON THEIR TRAINING. THIS IS NOT FOR THE FEINT OF HEART. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE SENSEI WAS SERIOUS WHEN HE TOOK OUT THE REAL MACHETE -- I MEAN WE USUALLY USE FAKE WEAPONS, HIS POINT WAS QUICKLY REALIZED.... WE ACTED MUCH DIFFERENT WHEN CONFRONTED BY THE REAL THING. AND DOWN WHERE WE ARE GOING, EVERYONE IS TRYING TO TAKE YOUR HEAD WITH ONE OF THESE.

THIS TRAINING HAS BEEN BY FAR THE BEST WE HAVE EXPERIENCED, BUT I THINK IT IS TRULY DEDICATED TO THE PROFESSIONAL, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SUCH.

WE WILL BE BACK IN THE WAY OF HARM SHORTLY, I LOOK FORWARD TO PUTTING MY NEW TRAINING TO USE. EVERYTHING FROM HAND TO HAND TO TACTICAL DRIVING.

definitely a school for the professional who wants to be the best. Training is like no other, the scope of training is concentrated on a martial application of hand to hand close quarter fighting including weapons training that is not found in classes for certification. they have a certain "commercial" side. Elite defenses provides training you can stake your life on.

Instructors are very skilled, but their head Sensei is a book of knowledge. worth the money, worth the time, and worth your life.!~
