Our family has been taking judo/jujitsu from Sensei Wise for over four years and we are highly pleased with his extreme knowledge and teaching technique. We recommend his classes for both younger aged children as well as adults.

I really appreciate the discipline and values that this class instills. Sensei Wise provides a great combination of toughness and patience that kids don't get very often anymore. My daughters are doing very well in school and physically since starting this class.

I highly recommend the program; my two granddaughters have become much better doing their chores. They participate more in conversation at family dinner and ask questions that are intelligent considering their ages. Kylie, who is 4 years old, has become more protective of her sister who is only two.

Kylie has developed a great deal of confidence as well. One night, she stopped to watch a little of the “Biggest Loser” with me and when one of the female contestants could not do one of the exercises, Kylie said she could and did it easily, which is not bad for a 4 year old.

Sensei Wise must have the patience of a saint. He is stern, fair and respected & liked by the kids. On class days, both girls are eager to go to class and there has never been a day in the last 6 months that they have not wanted to go.

My Daughters Kylie (4) and Khloe (Soon to be 3) Have been in Kokoro Martial Arts class for 6 months. They really enjoy his class and Sensei is extremely good with the kids and has taught my girls discipline along with respect and have had fun watching them grow. His class is well worth taking.

I took my 3-year old grandson to his karate class the other night. I though my daughter was joking about him attending and actually participating in a karate class. I have to say how impressed I was with the instructors. I don't know a thing about karate but as a retired kindergarten teacher, I can say that the instructors tailor the class for specific developmental stages. I was impressed with how attentive the 3-year old kids were in class and how much the instructors kept them focused. It was evident my grandson enjoyed his time in class. Since he as been attending karate, his communication and social skills have flourished. I am so thankful these instructors choose to teach such young children and do a wonderful job at that.

Sensei Michael Wise is incredibly knowledgeable in Martial Arts. Most importantly to me as a parent, he is extremely patient with children. My three-year-old son loves attending class. Sensei maintains an orderly learning environment in the midst of three and four-year-olds all the while the kids are having fun. I would highly recommend this Dojo.
