Chinese Martial Arts have a long history in the United States and this case is no different. In a connection between Chinese and African/Black Americans, Tyease Brooks has a unique Kung Fu past unique to the state of Arkansas since 1895.
Learning different martial arts including Animal Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Taekwondo and other martial arts, Brooks is known for Chinese Kung Fu and is specifically known for the discipline of Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu via the Moy Yat Lineage.
When it comes to Kung Fu, Brooks just does not teach you the forms of the Wing Chun Kung Fu system. When you learn Kung Fu, in the Hampton Hong Shogun M.A school, you also learn the skills and secrets of other Kung Fu that makes Wing Chun come alive and more dominant than other schools teaching the same skills.
With 39 years of dedication to the martial arts, with 25+ years of that teaching, Tyease Brooks is ready to show you what real self-preservation defense is.
“There is a big difference between a school of self-defense that has been around a couple of decades and a martial arts legacy that has been around, in the same state, for over a hundred years.” - Tyease Brooks (Hong, Tai-yun)
Disclaimer: We have never been affiliated with any other schools or any other teachers. Our history goes back to 1895 which predates any and all martial arts schools in the United States. Our Wing Chun, connected to Ip Man via Moy Yat, is the only school in Arkansas that has been serving this state since 1995 and has carried on through the Hampton Hong name.
