Dragon Claw Kung Fu
In today’s fast paced society, there is a great need for confidence and self respect. Knowing this, we strive to find an outlet that covers those attributes and yet does not consume all of our time. As we age our flexibility and agility tends to decrease. This loss of mobility over time can have a dramatic effect on our activities and also dictates the life style we lead. Kung Fu will help develop self control, coordination, speed, strength, and the ability to defend oneself with a system of defense that has been tried and tested for thousands of years.

Programs & Class Schedule
We have become a busy people and have limited time. I saw the need to stream line the process of training, without removing the important subtle details that make techniques effective. In a “real fight” situation, the student of martial arts must know when and how to react without hesitation. It is important for a person to be able to quickly think for themselves and improvise spontaneously. To do this, one must practice in “real fight” situations that contain the unexpected encounters one may face on the street. To train effective martial artists we first begin with the Fighting Basics: Stances, Footwork, Deflections, Strikes, Falls, and Pressure Points. Once this basic framework is in place, the student will begin learning Intermediate and Advanced techniques: Forms, Weapons, Grabs, Throws, Holds, Joint Locks, and Fighting Strategies. The basic, intermediate, and advanced levels combined make a well rounded martial artist. At first, the student will practice simple combinations and movements. Techniques are repeated over and over again until they become easy and natural, but the goal is to use them spontaneously and effectively. Very advanced mental and physical development is required to remain in control of a conflict that may happen unexpectedly. Currently, our class Schedule is Monday and Thursdays from 5:00PM - 9:00PM. We accept students from the age of 6 and up.
