Reviews of Delray Judo Institute

for the last couple of months that I have attended classes at Delray Judo institute the instruction has been first rate. I have never learned so much Judo as I have since joining this club. I have over 8 years in Judo and this experience has been the best.

while visiting friends in Florida, I looked up some local Judo clubs and found the Delray Judo Institute. I called to see if I could come by and work out with them, the person that I spoke to on the phone was very cordial and said that I was welcomed to come by anytime.

The next evening I came by and was treated to a great workout. The quality of Judo was phenomenal and the workout was intense.

As a competitor from New Jersey, I really appreciated how hard this group works and for over 2 hours we ran drills, groundwork and even was treated to versions of throws that were new to me.

I am definetely recommending this school to all my friends in Judo to visit whenever they travel to florida.

I went to the school thinking I would sign up for a basic self defense class and started watching the Judo class in session. I was impressed by the level of instruction and the attention given to the students by the instructors.

Even having no experience and not the most athletic they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The instructors all spent time with me and would re explain a technique as many times as I need.

Needless to say I look foward to each class and even though I am a begginner, I now enjoy working with the more advanced students.

The entire experience has been wonderfull and I couldnt recommend any business as highly as I recommend this one

Not only great Judo but a mix of Jujitsu as well, I couldn't ask for anything more.

I have been a Judo practitioner for many years and trained in many clubs from Arizona to New Jersey and Florida. I walked into a class in session and was I ever impressed. The black belt instructors really new what they were talking about, not just talking the talk, but when they performed the technique it was picture perfect.

I started the very next day, being they have a wide range of scheduled classes it was easy to get started. the workout was tremendous and you can tell theta they care about the students and how each student learns at a different pace. they were so patient with the slower learners and kept the more advanced players going.

In the last few weeks I have learned more about each throw then ever before, new and different approaches to the throw and not only basic but for competition.

every work out has been amaizing, it is truly a Judo school that understands the principles of Judo not only for the beginner but for the advanced competitor as well.

I highly recommend Delray Judo Institute for anyone who wants to learn or continue learning Judo. The Jujitsu is very impressive as well, the instructor is well versed and has ground work like I have never seen before. A Must see.....

I have been to many schools that claim they teach the martial arts. I nick-named these costume party clubs, where there is an instructor or 2 dressed up in a neat looking uniform with a so called hi-rank and credentials but there is no martial arts being taught at all! Go figure! There are under qualified so called masters attempting to train people. Well guess what? at this Delray Judo school there is serious training going on, and not just one art! All under one roof with dedicated talented people. What a great place to be 6 days a week! My son took karate 2 times per week at over $100 per month and they handed him belt ranks like it was going out of style. At this particular Judo School, you have to earn your rank. The costume party is over, this is the premeir Martial arts school!

What an excellent place to learn martial arts. My daughter and me train here and love it. The instructors are very skilled and helpful. The head instructor is a wonderful person that really cares about ALL of his students.

I accidently found this club and I couldnt have been happier. Not only is the club well organized but all the instructors love what they do. First we started the warm up which included a Yoga instrutor stretching us out. Then we did warm up drills,and fitting in for throws. We continued with some ground work which was lead by a true Jujitsu black belt who showed techniques that absolutely blew me away. Then If that wasnt enough we then did stand up which was lead by the head sensei. It was one amazing throw after another. He showed the throw from the very basic to to the most cpmpetitive with at least six different entries to the same technique. After that amaizing display we then did randori and finally some cool down excersises. All I have to say is what at amaizing work out. We all walked out totally soaked, it was great.

I cant wait to go back !!!!
