Whether you go to Kanreikai for fighting or exercise you will do a lot of both - full contact fighting is adjusted to a students ability,and the workout you receive at each class is tremendous - traditional with modern elements relative to today's world - Hanshi Manny Matias has 40 years of experience training adults and children, is truly knowledgeable with first-hand experience, and is a great motivator. Try a class and you'll be back for more.
Hanshi Manny and other instructors of this relatively small (which means lots of personal attention for you) dojo have been training and teaching for decades! Whether you want to study traditional karate for yourself or to fight in big and small tournaments, this is a great place to get into the best shape of your life, learn some great skills and have loads of fun being part of the dojo family.
