Reviews of Cuadra Brother's Self Defense Academy

This is an exceptional school. I have been impressed with the quality of instruction, cleanliness of the facilities, and life lessons given at Cuadra Brothers' Self Defense Academy.

My teenagers and I were true beginners with zero prior experience when we started attending. The more we have advanced in our learning and progressed in our belt ranks, the more we appreciate how much our instructors know. All the instructors have been patient with students. We experience motivation with positive coaching and they push us to our potential. The black belt students and other advanced ranked belts who have assisted with the Beginner and Intermediate Classes have had their own insight and helpful suggestions to share.

The entire staff takes pride in their gym. They provide a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Equipment is well maintained and safe to use. The spacious, matted gym allows for ample room to maneuver with multiple students.

Each month, we focus on a life lesson. We have learned about life principles such as integrity, devotion, appreciation, confidence, flexibility, and heroism. The beginning of the month comes with a challenge from the instructors to incorporate this new habit-this leadership quality-into our lives and to recognize it in others.

I recommend this school to everyone, no matter the level of your starting ability. They are willing to work with you and provide appropriate rigor to allow you to succeed.
