My 3 kids and I joined Tae Kwon Do with Sensei Todd about a year ago and we all love it. We range in age from 8 to 45 (shhh!). I appreciate how fun Todd keeps the class. My 8 year old daughter is a little shy and taekwondo has helped her come out of her shell. I'm always worried about getting hurt but I never have. I'm fitter now and measureably more flexible than I was a year ago. Todd goes out of his way to be friendly and keep the class fun. His knowledge of all things martial arts is astounding.

I got my first black belt when I was 6 and living in Korea. I got my second black belt when I was 11 and living in Cuba. I also trained in Maryland for a while. I'm currently 15 training with Sensei Todd and he's the best instructor I've ever had. Safety is his main concern, but he pushes us hard and I'm learning cool stuff every day. Sensei Todd cares about his students on a personal level and often asks how I'm doing in school. I've been with him a year and am looking forward to many more years with him.
I started taking Hap Ki Do from Sensei Todd a few months ago and have learned a lot of basic self defense. I feel more confident when I walk down the street that I could handle myself if I needed to. It's great to know a few basic moves if someone grabs your arm or hair. I think all school kids should know this stuff to help them defend against a bully at school.
