I'm 37 yrs. and I have been a member at Cornerstone for two years now. I came in at 260 lbs. and out of shape. I have a number of health problems including two stints in my heart that I receive at a rip young age of 34. Cornerstone Martial Arts has as been a life saver. I'm currently competing at 215 lbs. and I have won several metals including 1st place in the 2012 NC State Championships. I'm still have goals to reach but I'm in the best shape of my life.

Beside all the mush stuff... we are a BJJ school only and you can train as much as you would like 6 days a week at now extra charge. We compete as much as possible but not required. The best part is, and the part I did not except, is with Coach Charlie and his family. Besides being a great teacher he has become a life long friend. I would like to thank him and his Family for every thing they have done for me. I also like to thank God for putting where I need to be.

What I like about Cornerstone Martial Arts (CMA) is the instructor's experience and patience. I am a first time student of any type of martial arts. I would think Jujitsu would be complicated but, the instructor, Charlie makes it fun and easy to learn. What I enjoy about the art of Jujitsu is the learning of how to use your opponent's body to your advantage. The body mechanics involved in the art are truly remarkable. I weigh 200 pounds and I was being thrown around the dojo by a woman weighing 140 pounds. The techniques are easily enough kids can perform them, if fact kids do perform them Charlie as classes for children. Since I have taken Jujitsu I feel more confident in fending off an attack in this crazy world we live in.

I have been to many other schools that taught jiu jitsu and thought I was getting great training. When I started at Cornerstone I was pleasantly surprised to learn all sorts of new takedowns and submissions. I would not go any where but here.

Conch Charles Nunley gives awesome instruction and has a vast knowledge of B.J.J. and M.M.A. It's ben my experience that coach Charlie dose not cater or favor any student over another no mater what there experience is. And the new location is grate and I love the new mats there so nice.

Superior choice for both self-defense and self-control instruction among both younger and older students. Expert caring, knowledgeable and understanding staff. The tailored instruction is a plus, also!

- Flexible Schedules: One of the things that separates CMA from other MMA businesses is that you can pick up the phone anytime and schedule special 1 on 1 instructions; anytime of the week anytime of the day...even weekends if need be especially for those eligible for Tournaments.

- You will not only get technique and style but history of BJJ.

- Great location in the heart of Fayeteville. Big training floor plan, eager to learn students...cool environment.

- Ask them about their Discounts!
