Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or BJJ, is a self-defense grappling martial with an emphasis on controlling your opponent through leverage and submissions. Our goal is to introduce the people of the community to the healthy benefits that training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has to offer. These health benefits include weight-loss, gaining self-confidence, self-discipline, focus, and overall positive life-style change. Students will wear Kimonos (Gi), which is the standard uniform of BJJ training. The training environment is made up of thick padded mats in which our students will conduct all their exercises on. Each class will have a coach that will demonstrate and instruct the students regarding the technique and position of the day
