Community Aikikai

COMMUNITY AIKIKAI

We are a newly formed group of Aikido students offering an introductory course in Aikido principles and movement at the Montclair Cooperative School, in Montclair, NJ. We trace our lineage to Aikido Hombu Dojo, the world headquarters of the founder's organization, through Aikido Centers, a seven dojo group based in East Hanover, NJ, under the leadership of Greg O'Connor Sensei, 7th Dan. O'Connor Sensei has been offering instruction in New Jersey for over 30 years and is the author of two highly regarded books on the art.

Our evening classes are for adults unless permission is given to a teenage student. There are no contracts and classes are paid for on a drop-in basis.
