Cobb Martial Arts
We are a small school yet traditional in nature. Sensei Lugo has been involved in the martial arts since 1983 and offers a great insight into modern combative applications. The school itself teaches a combination of Aikido, Japanese Ju Jitsu, Judo, Goju Ryu Karate, and Ground Grappling concepts. Sensei trains you with an old school methodology for new school effectiveness. We have been in the Powder Springs area since 2009 and are continuing strong.
Our program is a lifestyle program that will greatly alter the way you look at your limitations or lack of limitations. The skills that will be learned throughout the training process will be beneficial to our students and will provide them with the knowledge and skills that will enhance almost every aspect of their life. Since our unique, Zanshin-Do Ju Jitsu system combines a mix of 4 major martial art strengths, our students will also be physically trained to defend themselves.

Programs & Class Schedule
Little Samurai's 5-8
They are young and full of fun but they will kick you!
The Little Samurai's all have a goal and that is to "Learn Self Control"
This program is designed to help introduce the martial arts at a young age. Due to the energy of our students we only allow a limited number of students on the mat at one time.
Youth Class 9-12
This is our comprehensive Martial Arts program. It begins by building a foundation of respect, techniques, principles, philosophy and character development. We hone skills such as: leadership, respect, confidence, first time listening, improved grades, discipline, focus and much more. This program should not be looked upon as an extracurricular activity but rather as a life training program.
Teen 13-17 (Adult 18+)
Our teen and adult students really appreciate the differences between martial arts training and standard exercise programs. Exercising at a gym is a solitary process that lacks motivation or a social element. In contrast, training in our school is fun, motivating and a great way to meet friends with similar interests. This is our comprehensive Martial Arts program which allows three classes per week. It begins by building a foundation of fitness, techniques, principles, philosophy and character development.
Women's Cardio Kickboxing
Develop new skills and a strong core as you burn a ton of calories in this intense mixed martial arts class. Intense easy-to-follow combinations of upper-body strikes, lower-body strikes, blocks and athletic drills make-up this killer cardio workout. Perfect blend of martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, and cardiovascular training.
