Sensei Troy is a very good martial artist. He was taught by Shihan Ron Aten of Blue Mound, Il. There is no better teaching than Shihan Aten.

I know from personal experience this instructor does not hold a black belt in and is not qualified to teach Goju-Ryu, Aiki or Jeet Kune Do! There is no such style as Goju-Ryu Sabaki! What is Goju-Ryu Sabaki?
The comment that was written about the instructor not having a black belt in GoJu Ryu is false. I was at the seminar where Master Gary Boyd gave Troy Clayton his black belt. It's sad that a martial artist would be so disrespectful especially when that is one of the main goals of a martial artist. Martial arts is about building people up not bringing them down. Troy Clayton keeps to himself and tries to help others when possible but yet people still try to bring him down. He is by far the best instructor I have ever seen. He is not traditional because the art has to change to keep the interests of beginners. Some people think this is a weakness. I see it as a strength. Maybe there would be more martial artists if more instructors were like this. He is a natural at teaching and the kids love him. He has not had one complaint from any of the students or their families. It is a christian based school and I would be proud to have a child in this program. God Bless you all.
