Reviews of Chikarakogeki Karate & Judo Kai

Its sad to see the other review of this place as negative. It was actually written in 3rd person by "sensei's John and Pete" who were asked to leave the club due to their unethical treatment of the sport. However, if you are looking for a real judo dojo than look no further. They have just relocated and have a new dojo with new mats!! Unlike the other guys who just rent some space twice a week from other clubs. Chikarakogeki is also open 5 days a week for only $65 a month!!! A way better deal than the 2 days a week from the other guys, for about the same price too. Chikarakogeki has produced 2 olympians, Dr. Milledge Murphey (founder) and Colleen Rosensteel, also a 2x juniors national champion in judo and a world champion in Isshinryu Karate which is also taught there. They give the first two classes free!!

Richard Crenshaw is a weasel of a man, quite unethical to say the least! Sensei John and Sensei Pete have just left there, as for most of the students. Richard has only 3 Karate students, whereas, Sensei John and Sensei Pete had 22....only to find out that Richard has all the Judo money in a "personal" account, not a business account. He is a corrupt, hateful small ignorant man. Probably best described as pathetic. PLEASE do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
