Chen-style Taijiquan is one of the great internal martial arts of China. It includes striking, joint locking and wrestling applications. But more importantly, Chen style Taijiquan practitioners seek to integrate mind and body to gradually increase gong, or internal power. Increasing gong means improving strength, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, confidence and peace of mind. The instructor, Dan Ferber, teaches traditional training methods that he has learned as a senior student of Master Yang Yang, one of the country's top Chen style masters.
