Chelsea ATA
The ATA works to create leaders through martial arts training and enforcing life skills such as respect, discipline, loyalty, and courtesy. Our martial arts programs span from ages 4 through adults and include topics such as child safety, stranger danger, anti-bullying, leadership skills, self defense, rape prevention as well as traditional Taekwondo. We hope that the combination of training in physical strength and growth and valuable life skills will lead students to personal successes in life inside the classroom and beyond. Parents have found that their children improved their behavior in school as well as gained a greater sense of self esteem through the teachings of integrity, dedication and perseverance they learned in their Taekwondo training. Adults have found a greater sense of confidence as they learn to protect themselves in a variety of situations.
ATA Martial Arts participates actively in the community to show its strong belief in helping people develop a healthy mind and body as well as greater sense of self. For more information regarding the ATA, please visit our local website www.chelseaata.com or the national website www.ataonline.com. ATA Schools and clubs are independently owned and operated.

Programs & Class Schedule
Programs:
Tiny Tigers Ages 4-6
The tiny tiger program was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4-6. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group.
Karate for Kids Ages 6-15
There are many reasons for kids to become involved in Martial Arts. We have developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are, goals, self- confidence, attitude, Integrity, Friendship, confidence, self-awareness, self-esteem, perserverance, self-improvement, respect, and dedication.
Adult Taekwondo Ages 15 & Up
Our adult and teen students acquire a strong foundation in the basics to enhance their physical capabilities and maximize their self-defense skills. Our students learn exactly what it takes, mentally and physically, to defend themselves or their loved ones should the need ever arise. We are not interested in just teaching self-defense, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student.
Black Belt Club
The Black Belt Club program is open to all students of any rank or age. It represents the highest level of our Success through Goal Setting philosophy. Black Belt Club members are those individuals whose goal is to become a Black Belt. Students must know exactly what their goals are in order to accomplish them with determination and enthusiasm.
Leadership
Outstanding students are invited to join the Leadership Program. The goal of this program is to train future leaders. Not just leaders in Taekwondo, but at school, at home and in the community. Aside from our physical training, we focus on developing communication skills, decision-making skills, active problem solving, and speaking in front of a group. ATA instructors are more than karate teachers. We are actively making a positive impact on our community, one black belt at a time.
XMA
Students in our Leadership Program are taking traditional Taekwondo to the extreme: ATA Xtreme. ATA Xtreme is an elite level of training that blends many martial art styles together with high-flying acrobatics and fast action! The goal of ATA Xtreme is to use the skills our students have developed and challenge them to become better then they thought possible.
