Love being a part of the Martial arts family. They are a great group of people. Karate keeps me in shape. The teachers work with me through all my disabilities. Love you all.
I enrolled my grandson HUNTER fall of 2016, so he could burn off some energy and learn some patience etc. seems to be working great--he has had all green days in school (1 yellow) since he started. THEN IT HAPPENED !!! I joined myself. I did not need to burn energy, I needed energy. Let me tell you, I was turning into a bad couch potato ( I have a few physical issues ) but like I said I joined, and I am loving it. making a lot of new friends, exercising, and just getting up and out. the sensei's don't push you to do what you can not do. They will teach you as much or as little as you prefer. It's nice to learn some self defense, makes me feel more secure in my (older age) . As a last note my grandson and I enjoy karate very much, even though we are now in different classes. He is a belt higher than me. But I still take him to his classes (great quality time). P. S. ALL I CAN SAY IS JOIN--YOU WILL LOVE IT! I AM SURE YOU WILL MAKE MANY NEW FRIENDS AND MAYBE EVEN MEET ME !!!!!!!!
