I would like to say my son has trained with Ross Kellin since Nov 2006 and is now a Jr black belt. I have recently started my 4 year old in little champs taught by Ross and I myself take Kristin's tigervascular kickboxing class. This is a great place to train with great people and has always been a fun family oriented safe place for my children I recommend them to my friends all the time.

Been training there for almost a year and love it. Ive trained at other gyms and have yet to experience a gym as friendly and helpful as Champions. The instructors turn into friends and the gym really becomes like a second family. Two thumbs up.

We have never actually trained with or under Ross or at Champions MMA, However based on all the COPA events that we've done over the past two years there is NO DOUBT at all that Ross is a EXCELLENT instructor just based on the performance of his students at the events. I've never been to Champions MMA but again based on his COPA events Ross spares no expense to put on a quality event and I couldn't imagine him doing any less at his gym.I see some of the highest level black belts in the world at his events on a regular bases,You don't get people of that level consistently attending your events for being anything but dedicated, passionate and highly professional. Thanks Ross

first off I'd like to say that Champions MMA for sure has an amazing core group of students. Although When someone is paying a business 100$ monthly you would think they would make it worth your money.
Now they do offer classes every night so you entitled to as many a week as you want but when you go you basically showed a move and expected to learn it. Other than Sensai Josh Baccaullo They are short tempered short fused and if you don't pick up on the move they stop the class single you out and humiliate you.
Now after awhile you start to pick up on the form of Martial Arts you are learning personally I was interested in BJJ. I got pretty good at it was actually able to submit higher level students than I ( more experienced white belts). I did not receive any credit for it no good jobs no strips on my belts no recognition at all. I know Martial Arts Isn't about being recognized but when I'm paying you to teach me something I want some recognition on my progress i think thats understandable.
I mentioned before Sensai Josh Baccaullo (I hope I'm not screwing up the spelling to bad). He on the other hand is a great teacher. When I first started there he taught me a lot of basics helped me a long gave me a good foundation. I hold nothing but high respect for him and would like to praise him i this review.
Now this was just a summary of my experience and I would like to end of it by basically saying.
I went to Champions MMA for 6 months.
Not one teacher knew my name.
My kids have been training with Sensei Ross Kellin since June 2011. They started out just taking the kids evening classes, and by 2013 were in the after school program. I myself take the Adult Jiu-jitsu and tiger-vascular kickboxing classes and have lost most of my weight because of it. Sensei Ross, and our other coaches/instructors, make this a great place to train. It is family oriented and great for people of ALL ages. I highly recommend all classes and the After School Program to anyone.
