Central Soo Bahk Do Martial Arts
Central Soo Bahk Do offers training in a traditional Korean martial arts style. Soo Bahk Do students gain discipline, courage, confidence, and self-esteem, due to the strong emphasis on the value instilled in becoming a traditional martial artist, not just someone who can punch and kick without any real understanding of what they are doing.
Christy Cooper, owner and chief instructor, is a nationally certified master instructor with over 25 years of martial arts experience.
Central Soo Bahk Do offers training programs for all ages and levels, starting at age 4. Cardio kickboxing is also offered to promote strength training, cardio and conditioning.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Central Soo Bahk Do Martial Arts:
Programs & Class Schedule
Little Ninjas (ages 4 and 5): offered in 6 week sessions. Mondays and Thursdays 5:30-6:00 pm. Students will learn basic principles of martial arts in an environment that fosters good behavior, concentration, physical coordination, leadership, decision making skills and goal setting; and they’ll have fun doing it!!
Children (ages 6-12): Standard and Premium Membership options available. Mondays and Thursdays 6:00-6:45 pm. Students will learn how to function in structured group training. Shy children develop confidence and energetic children acquire self control and an appropriate outlet for their energy, and all children have a great time with various programs. Parents will notice improved balance, coordination, and overall physical development in their child, as well as better listening skills and concentration.
Teens and Adults (ages 13 and up): Mondays and Thursdays 7:00-8:00 pm. People of all ages can excel in martial arts training. Majority of adults like the mental as well as the physical aspect of martial arts, and have seen vast improvement in the following areas: Physical Fitness, Self-Confidence, Increased Flexibility, Discipline, Mental Stimulation, Self-Defense, Agility, and Self-Respect.
Cardio Kickboxing (ages 15 and up): Mondays and Thursdays 8:15-9:00 pm and some extra days, check the calendar. This program is focused on exercise. We use principles of kickboxing, mixed with other body-strength exercises to promote fitness for students of all fitness levels.
