Reviews of Central Florida Systema School

After going to about 1/2 dozen schools in the area, I wanted to try this Russian art. I looked around and saw that this was the only one in Orlando so I gave it a shot.

AMAZING!! I was blown away. The art is the coolest I have ever seen or done. I loved it and plan on training in it a long, long time.

Best school around. Systema is interesting and fast moving, effective. Loved the teacher. Other students were fun to work with.

I have been to about 8 or 9 martial arts schools since living in Orlando. Of all the shcools I would say CFL Systema is the very best.

The Sensei knows his stuff inside and out. The classes are both useful and entertaining and the people who train there are very cool.

Best experience I have had. I finish school in 1 month and cant wait to train on a regular basis!!!

Systema is very fluid and realistic. Covers all aspects of self defense: punch , kick, knife/gun, ground. There is a huge emphasis on relaxing and breath control. Anyone of any age and/or background can add this fantastic art to their repertoire!!! Instructor is very welcoming and atmosphere is always positive with a great group of people....why not try something new and different!!

Systema is the only martial arts where you can hear people laugh and have a good time while training. There are no techniques, Katas or any other drills to remember. If you have to remember anything, it will be to breathe, stay relaxed and move with a purpose. Highly recommended!

Central FL Systema is a outstanding environment to practice a martial art unlike any other you may have practiced before. The instruction is excellent and translates to everyone no matter how long you have been practicing. The class is made up of a great group of people who are both welcoming and eager to learn. My time at the Central Fl Systema school has truly been rewarding and taught me some great life lessons as well. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in learning a unique martial art.

If you are not practicing Systema, you are missing out on a great experience. This very nice group of people is dedicated to learn and teach others. The instructor created a welcoming environment to beginners. Experienced martial artist will also benefit from this training. The instructor, David Orman, is very talented and his dedication to teaching does not cease to amaze me

Friendly atmosphere with a welcoming core group of individuals at various levels of skill. Open and informal learning environment. Plenty of personal attention from the instructor. Focus on core movements and concepts including breath control and tension reduction. Instructor introduces methods for hand-to-hand and weapon defense, striking, takedowns, stick fighting and more. Techniques are practiced and refined with partners or small groups overseen by the instructor. Whether you are a skilled martial artist from another discipline or a complete beginner, you will find worthwhile information and activity here. Highly Recommended!

It is tough learning Systema because nothing is set and you are always having to move and adjust. Sometimes it gets frustrating because I am used to aikido where there are tons of techniques. Systema is no technique.

On the other hand it challenging and I would say the best martial fighting art that I trained in.

David Sensei is cool and very talented. He makes this class a lot of fun which takes the edge off. I get to learn and enjoy too.

Not only the best Systema school I have gone to but one of the very best martial arts schools.

David really knows his stuff and has a knack for teaching tough movements in an easy to use style. His adding of humor makes this an enjoyable and valued class.

I was crushed when I had to move and couldnt train here any more. No other school I have been to matches the skill and enthusiasm of Central FL school.

This is one of the best martial arts schools I have ever been to. Systema is a creative art that is powerful and effective. The teacher is passionate and very skilled.
