They have the most caring and dedicated team of instructors. Each one of them has an amazing ability to identify your weaknesses and mistakes and skillfully correct them in a very constructive manner. All this in a fun and learning environment for all ages.

Master Patterson does not spend any time monitoring the satellite studio in Carmel Valley. Facilities are poor, classes are huge and minimal/no feedback is given by instructor. I am seriously considering switching to another studio. Master Patterson needs to start paying as much attention to his Carmel Valley studio as he is paying attention to his new studio in Encinitas.

Master Pattison is the finest instructor of ANY subject that I have ever seen. There are numerous karate instructors who have technical skills equal to his, but he is an exemplary teacher. He has the rare gift of bringing out the best in each student.

Many parents send him their children who lack confidence or are having trouble focusing. He is able to develop confidence in these students. Other people send their kids who are impulsive or have other behavior issues. He is able to help these children set boundaries and gain self-control. I recommend this studio highly. If you want your child to study with a person who is a good example and who is able to develop leadership skills in others, this is the place for you!
