My son Amaad has been going for 8 months now. What an improvement on his self-esteem and confidence. Here’s more confident in school work and socially he’s getting better at opening up to meeting new people. Learning to protect himself from harm & bullying helps, yet this program gives him motivation, helps him to do more & open up more in class, etc. Thank you Master Belsito for your extra push and for taking in my son as your student. You care about your students. You are Awesome in our book.

We absolutely love Catskill Martial Arts Academy and recommend it to everyone we can. my 5 year old has learned so much in the few months he’s been attending. We can’t wait to see how much more he’ll grow.

Folks, I post this as an excellent way to deal with your child being bullied. Please Please Please do your child the favor of at least investigating this place. I know many of the martial arts schools in Sullivan County and I have frankly never met a teacher like the man who runs this one.

Excellent school of Martial Arts. The teacher, Mr. Belsito, is clearly invested in his students and in particular those younglings who come to his school with issues which cause them to be distracted or not do well in school, and those who are bullied. Mr. Donald E. Belsito Sr. does NOT teach kids to be aggressive, rather he teaches them the wisdom to walk away from a battle when they can, and also the wisdom to know how to defend themselves when they must. I wish he would teach his courses in the schools here in the local Sullivan County districts. In the spring of last year I brought him my youngling who was getting into fights at school, not doing well in his studies, significant aggression issues due to being bullied and a haphazardous self image. It is now November and this kid has made a 180* turnaround in every aspect of his life. It is almost surreal how the constancy of Mr. Belsito's martial arts instructor tutelage, his patience, his attention to detail and abhorrence of sloppy work, has been a major factor in my boy's life. He has made Student of the Month this year; he brings home no less than a 90 in his grades; his teachers are ecstatic at his new enthusiasm in class, his focus, his quest to actually learn, and his attention to detail. I refuse to believe it was only coincidence that the turnaround occurred as he became more intensely involved with his martial arts classes.

I highly recommend the Catskill Martial Arts Academy for teeny kids, mid-sized kids, older kids, teens, and adults.
