I have had the pleasure of training with Justin Plavic for several years and strongly suggest that other people follow suit. He blends ample demonstration with easily understood explanations that allow for students to grasp not only the movement shown, but the more abstract principles behind it. He is an amicable man that is easy to get along with, but he certainly projects an air of discipline when training. I would recommend Justin Plavic's wing chun class to anyone interested in martial arts. And remember, when in doubt, "it's simple physics. "

This school has a great instructor who really knows what they are doing. It's a lot of fun and it's easy to make friends. The atmosphere is great because you are encouraged by fellow students and the instructor to learn at your own pace I would recommend this school to anyone interested in learning martial arts.

Sensi Justin is an amazing instructor. He breaks down the moves step by step. uses metaphors to help us remember moves. He reviews with us after we do moves. He teaches a broad variety of Wing chungold fashion to disarming and know what to do if held at gun point. This class is full of fun and I recommend anyone wanting to learn self defense to join Sensi Justins class. You will not be disappointed!

The head of this place is a nice guy and all, but one of the instructors for Karate is always really mean and stern with his students. Justin on the other hand who I've been learning from for a few years now is really cool, chill, and respectful and just wants to teach a really awesome art. And thats one of the first things he says in many more words. He teaches from 8pm to 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday, go check him out!

Sifu Justin Plavic is an excellent Wing Chun instructor and does a good job of explaining the various aspects of each technique we practice. He thoroughly explains the concepts and mechanics of each technique, and demonstrates their effectiveness. He wastes little time with techniques that require effort and multiple steps to set up, instead preferring to go right to what is immediately effective, enabling one to quickly get out of a dangerous situation. In this Wing Chun class, finer details of what makes the techniques effective are emphasized so as not to be overlooked, and he goes around and assists his students as needed.
This is primarily a Wing Chun class, but it's more than what one sees in the Ip Man movies where Donnie Yen mainly employs footwork, blocks and chain-punching. Rather than focusing solely on those components, Sifu Justin also makes it a point to practice grappling, energy sensitivity ground fighting and grab escapes so we are well-rounded.
Overall, Sifu Justin's classes are fun and interesting. The concepts of energy and body mechanics you'll learn are demonstrated concretely and clearly at every turn, rather than being left as philosophical abstractions like a lot of instructors can tend to do. The techniques are clearly applicable and effective instead of being mainly just for show. And both the instructor and the students are friendly and welcoming.
Whether you’re interested in traditional martial arts, effective self-defense, or physical fitness, you can’t go wrong with Sifu Justin Plavic’s wing chun class. He breaks down complex ideas and techniques in ways that are easy to understand. The school’s atmosphere is friendly and very conducive to learning; classes are both challenging and fun. The dojo itself is well-equipped, and the large mat area makes practicing throws and joint locks during self-defense lessons easier and safer. I’ve studied several different martial arts with a number of teachers over the years, some of them excellent, but Sifu Plavic and this wing chun class are the best I’ve encountered. The instruction and facilities are great, and the cost is far less than the norm for other martial arts schools in the area. I recommend this school highly for beginners, veteran martial artists, or anyone looking for a high quality martial arts class.
