The Bujinkan Rapid City Shibu with Shidoshi-ho Erich Orris is a branch of the Bujinkan Kushin An Dojo under the direction of Shidoshi Ron Bergman. Ron and Erich are licensed to teach nine historical schools of martial arts under guidance of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi, the grandmaster of the Bujinkan Dojo, as well as the grandmaster of the nine schools.
The syllabus of the Bujinkan Dojo consists of techniques listed in the scrolls of the following nine schools which originated between the 11th and the 17th centuries in Japan: Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu (specializing in the muscular system), Koto-Ryu Koppojutsu (specializing in the skeletal structure), Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu (specializing in natural movements), Kukishinden-Ryu Dakentaijutsu Happo Biken (Samurai battlefield school), Gikan Ryu Koppo Taijutsu (specializing in the skeletal structure), Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu (Samurai style jujutsu), Togakure Ryu Ninpo Taijutsu (ninjutsu, )Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo Happo Biken (Ninjutsu), and Gyokushin-Ryu Ninpo Happo Biken (ninjutsu).
