I have been training with Sensei Vaughn since he opening the dojo around three years ago. As another reviewer stated; this is a small, but growing dojo with a great group of students. Everyone is eager to learn and considerate of one another. This dojo offers a gathering of friends from all age groups and a plethora of experience in other arts. We come to practice, not flaunt egos. Sensei Vaughn is a great instructor and sometimes maintains a blistering pace, which I do not consider to be a negative. I am still learning lessons from long past classes. Sensei Vaughn is personable and looks after his Buyu. He is understanding and flexible with his dojo hours to accomodate schedules and will even hold private classes every so often for buyu with scheduling conflicts or other concerns. If you are interested in learning Bujinkan Taijutsu, come check out our dojo! I recommend it highly!

Virginia Budo is a small group, but a great group of people. The Sensei was cool and fun. He was very good on how taught each technique, step by step. He answered questions upon request, and took his time to explain and help me with different things. He helped me with my foot work and body movement. Whatever I didn't understand, he made sure I understood before I left the dojo. I had a great time and always look forward to training with Virginia Budo.
I'm new to the arts but the instructor is so professional, fun and very good in his instructing. He's very thorough and patient with his students. we laugh and have a good class all around. i recommend ladies and gents even our children to stop by and check out the class.
