I was traveling through AZ and found this place just south of Tucson. I have been training in Ju-Jutsu and fighting MMA for five years now. I stopped in on a fluke, but these guys really know their stuff. VERY knowledgeable about martial arts and showed me some things I never thought about. It will definitely help my game. Highly recommend

I have attended several different Bujinkan schools in the Tucson area, this has become the best in the area in the last few years. It not only teachs excellent martial arts skills but treats everyone with respect and has a strong family feeling.
You can tell Sensei Petersmarck teachs because he enjoys it and not to just make money. He is also very approachable and so humble.
Thank you to everyone for making it a very welcoming place.

So sad that I had to leave this school. .. work pulled me to a different state. I had visited and trained at several schools in Arizona and this place is the real deal. The instructors are friendly and are really concerned about learning realistic, usable techniques. Nothing is given away here. If you want to learn how to defend yourself, if you want to learn about the history and traditions of Japanese martial arts, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Our teen girl is just now taking free trial classes and ready to sign up and David has been wonderful! He is great with his students from what we can see and excited to sign up soon.
The instructors are dedicated: not just to the art, but to teaching. The approach is to integrate technical aspects of the art with real-world applications while never losing sight of the philosophical and spiritual dimensions-- this approach is both effective and fun! The students are the same: serious, dedicated, extremely welcoming and friendly! These people have truly devoted themselves to a unique martial art with deep roots in Japan's remote past. I really can't write enough good things about them!
