At Bujinkan Bukeyashiki School we teach Budo Taijutsu for the purposes of self-defense from both a traditional and contemporary point of view. We have a safe and relaxed atmosphere that is inclusive and accepting of all types of people from all types of ages and backgrounds.
With more than 50 years of combined experience, our instructors are trained to help you unlock the mysteries of Budo Taijutsu and start you on the path to achieving increased confidence, awareness, concentration, flexibility and more.
We provide instruction to children, young adults and adults, tapering lessons to the needs of each student through classes specific to their individual age groups. Students are not just be a number in the crowd here at our school. They become part of our family. We know every single student by their first name.
We believe strongly in personal responsibility and honor. We are NOT a black belt factory. Black belts can be purchased anywhere. Students at our school will only receive what they deserve and they are expected to work for their rank.
Our school's motto is "You're responsible for your own training" and we take that saying very seriously. Students will receive guidance and instruction, but where they take that knowledge will ultimately be up to them.
Our martial art training is authentic and realistic with safety being our primary concern.
