The only training in the area that teach real ninjutsu . If anyone says they don't than they have no idea as to what ninjutsu is .
Great martial arts dojo with an instructor who knows what he is doing . His knowledge base is strong in all 9 martial schools and weapon skills .
He has been to Japan more than once to seek out his level of instruction to bring home to his students .
There is always lots of real hands on and you get to see how well it really works .
I was in Tae kwon do and thought it was pretty in effective . .too many children And I didnt believe the instruction to be realistic for women in the real world .

Theses guys are the real deal with there instruction directly from Japan .
The instructors have traveled there to learn and get there rank.
As a student your rank comes from Japan and you get lots of hands on with the instructors . Shidoshi Hembel is a 9th Dan I believe the highest ranked martial arts teacher in Green bay .
Traditional Japanese weapons are taught, sword, bo jutsu, jo jutsu and more .
Lots of natural movements and joint locks . . not alot of high fancy kicking .

This class is very diverse, from empty hand to weapons. The only Green bay dojo that has been to Japan and achieved there rank.
Some might say they teach the sword or weapons but the teachers here have a more true sense . Guessing since they have trained 1st hand in Japan.

This is Not True Ninjutsu

I was referred to this school by a friend. So I went and sat in and observed their training, as well as asked them some questions on what they teach. I have studied the history of ninjustu since I was young, so I am familiar with the art and the Shinobi (ninja) as a whole. The head instructor doesn't teach what makes ninjutsu, actual ninjutsu. He teaches his contemporary adaptation of taijutsu and kobudo. But he doesn't teach the philosophy, the spirituality, or the tactical aspects (unconventional warfare, espionage, weather, camouflage, disguises, etc) associated with true ninjutsu, especially associated with the Togakure-ryu. The unarmed and weapons are not what made ninjas, ninjas. Ninjas were unconventional warriors and spies in feudal Japan. So if a school claiming to teach ninjutsu doesn't teach you any of these aspects, they're not legit.
Other issues I have with this school. They don't incorporate any physical fitness or standards. They don't do any stretching prior or after the classes. They do not spar. The instructors teach from books, so they don't even have the material memorized. And from what I witnessed, it looked like even the instructors were trying to figure it out as they went along. The moves the head instructor was teaching didn't even match the diagrams in the books. It looked like he was trying to fake it to make it. So how can they perfect your technique, when they too haven't perfected it? The instructor for the Green Bay school is obese and out of shape. This is not how a practitioner, or master of ninjutsu should be.
Now I looked into the qualifications of the owner of this school. He never had any formal training in Bujinkan. All of what he thinks he knows he learn by attending seminars and through books. I asked him about the nine levels of power, and he didn't even know what I was talking about. So I would stay clear from this school if you want to learn true ninjutsu.

Good for tradition, bad for reality.

Techniques that belong in a movie, training based on situations that have nothing to do with real life. This is a good school to get in touch with the traditional and romantic side of Martial Arts but NOT a place to learn self-defence.

I really liked this place because it has a good fusion of teaching traditional martial arts but yet it applied it to real life. It's really hard to find a place that teaches traditional weapons, reallife self defense, and is customizable to you. It is also good for many ages and is good if you had previous martial arts. I wish they had more places like this.
Joining this school I read of its long line of lineage . With the instructors also going to Japan for there higher ranks .
Weapons teaching is integral to your learning and weapons are taught in almost every class . The group is very family oriented and we all learn together higher ranks as well as beginners . Great instruction .
