The Tunisian coach, the school owner's boyfriend? who recently showed up has a great karate background but an overbearing attitude and is mean to kids he doesn't like. The coaching is strict, which is good, but he also bullies kids who are beginners and can't do it. Not all kids are aiming for the Olympics and some are just coming to class because they enjoy karate. However, the class is like an army, and the coach's instructions MUST be obeyed.
My kid is going to hate karate before she gets her black belt. I can't believe that the school that treats children so badly has been voted Best Martial Arts by Cincinnati Family Magazine!

Shihan and Renshi Buckner have trained Pan American Champions and US Team Members. They teach everything from self defense to elite sport. There is no place better to take your kids or to learn as an adult.
I would not recommend this karate dance studio. Dojo owner only boasts about her past achievements, but in fact she does not have much knowledge. The way her teach is only sensory and shows a low level of understanding. The Tunisian boyfriend, 20 years younger than the dojo owner, who has settled there after having an affair with the dojo owner, emotionally yells at the children in the dojo, as if he is abusing minors. If athletes lose a competition, they blame the students and do not fulfill their responsibilities as coaches.
Recently, a lot of old teachers and main players have left this Dojo. The reason is obvious.
