The instructor is a great teacher, not only with Kata's but also in sparring. He takes time with each and every student to train them at their own pace. The other instructors are great as well. If you want to be in a great environment where you are guaranteed to learn discipline as well as how to defend yourself. This is the perfect place to join. You will not be disappointed. He trains tournament winners in Kata's and sparring. Perfect for all ages from youth to adult.
Instructors relate well with students of all ages.

My granddaughter trains with Shihan Brown and has been with him for two years this past January. She loves the school and has earned her greenbelt. She is very strong with her katas and does tournaments monthly. I would definitely recommend this school if asked.

Am myself a non-traditional student; female over 35. School has several "older" students and adult females. Instruction is based upon a given student and their skills/abilities. Atmosphere is family like. Class size less than 10 students most classes. Liked that it wasn't a "one size fits all approach." 5-6 black belts running around. Instructors are highly skilled and good at what they do, they know all students by name. Big on making sure a student knows how to apply what they have learned. Monthly fee was cheap in comparison to others and had no contracts to sign! While school is geared toward tournaments, there is no pressure if it's not your thing.
