This is martial arts???

Complete bullshido! Just a mixed up bunch of made up moves trying to be passed off as a martial art. Japanese words said here are horribly mispronounced! Katas/forms are disjointed and not from any traditional Japanese or Okinawan style. BULL-shido.

Joe Sebia- great teacher!!!

Joe Sebia is an excellent instructor. I attended his class to learn self defense. Because of the self defense technique I learned from Joe in class, I feel more confident and assured that I now have the tools to protect myself in any dangerous or threatening situation I am faced with.

Sensei Joe's classes are VERY beneficial for anyone who is looking for a practical, highly effective way to protect yourself. Another plus is- the price is extremely reasonable. Actually, underpriced for the amazing instruction he will provide you with.

GREAT school

I have been to different martial arts schools in the area, and they all seem to have that punch kick persona about them. This school teaches you a “self-defense” technique to the style. If you look at what aikijutsu is; it is the Japanese martial art style that is proven effective in self defense and this style was also used by ancient Japanese Samurai. If you read what “Joe” in the above post said you need to trace its lineage back to ancient Japan. “Lineage- a descent in a line from a common progenitor”. All forms of “American” martial arts will have a lineage and tie to ancient Japan. It’s the style that changes slightly to meet the needs and expectations of the instructor or instructors. You shouldn’t give a negative review on that. You should open your mind and take in the difference in style. For those who don’t open there minds to all forms of “style” are feebleminded and have learned nothing. Those who learn from style will reap the rewards. This school is top notch; the children classes learn discipline, and structure. The adults learn at a deeper level of “self-defense”. The instructor is careful and respectful. He is a “true” to the style and form. HIGHLY recommended.

My son has been going here since day one! In 2 months he already knows 1-10 in Japanese, a wide variety of Japanese vocabulary and the first Kata! Sensei Joe is wonderful with the kids! My son has learned a lot of self defense techniques. I couldn't be happier with another dojo! Highly recommended!!

Does Not teach traditional martial arts...

Always ask a martial arts instructor to provide their COMPLETE history of training and experience. Papers hung a wall don't mean they are legit. Aiki jutsu is a rare style(it is of Japanese origin) and should be taught by licensed instructors from a school which can trace its lineage back to Japan. Here they DO NOT teach anything that resembles traditional aiki jutsu. This simply is an American karate school.
