A huge part of my life.. I have been with Boston Tae Kwon Do as a student for the past 15 years of my life. I would say that this has been one of the greatest long-running experiences I have had in my life. Master Montrond is an amazing teacher and man who cares deeply about his students. He was more than a teacher to me. He was a mentor, a role model, and a friend. The staff are incredibly skilled and patient with the students. Not only does the school teach the students to be skilled at the martial arts, but it also helps to instill qualities that help in other aspects of life. Self-discipline, control, focus, respect, patience, courage, persistence and dedication are all taught as important. In a time when much of the attitude is to "do whatever is needed to get ahead" it is amazing to see that there is a school that is determined and dedicated to training and studying with integrity. My experiences at Boston Tae Kwon Do Academy helped shape me into who I am today, and I am incredibly grateful to have had that opportunity. I would HIGHLY recommend studying there. I do not agree with the two reviews that gave one star. After being at that school for most of my life and almost the entire duration of the school's existence, I can say that I have never seen the behavior described there. The instructors are far from cocky, and are incredibly patient. They are the most qualified teachers I have met and deeply care for their students. The reviewers are even patient when faced by some of the most disrespectful children I have seen. The change I have seen in those students' lives are incredible. From low self esteem to high confidence, unhealthy to great shape, disrespectful and loud to respectful.

Excellent team - healthy choice for your kids!. Excellent team of instructors ! Our kids love to take class and have look at the teachers as big brothers ! It is a school where your kids can learn martial arts but most important discipline, respect and patience! I simply love to go there and watch the class!

Has Been Wonderful For My Kids. My children have been at Boston Tae Kwon Do for over 7 years and they have grown so much physically, mentally and emotionally. The support they have received from the staff is tremendous. My daughter even wrote an english paper on how supportive the instructors have been to her. The instructors are phenomenal with all the kids and know how to work with each one to bring out the best in them. And, they are always putting forth a positive attiitude making the kids feel positive too.

Each of my children's self confidence and self esteem has improved significantly from their years at Boston Tae Kwon Do. I am amazed at how easily my son and daughter perform their forms in front of a room full of people. They are proud of what they have accomplished and it shows! My son started at age 6 and by age 12 he became a black belt! The instructors work hard with the students to help them succeed which only builds their confidence more.

Master Montrond cares about all his students and it shows in the fact that he knows every one of their names! It's a wonderful place for a child to grow in every way!

My son has been coming to the program, since he was 6, and is about to get his black belt. This is such an amazing group of teachers. Everybody is extremely supportive, and dedicated to their work. They know how to motivate a child and make them want to come for more. Absolutely recommend it to anybody, who's child might even have a slight interest in this sport.

I went to BTKA from ages 6 to 13. It helped me a lot with self defense and. I loved the staff too. I had so many instructor and each of them I can still remember. They work hard to teach you. They challenge you while making it fun to learn. I made many friends during my years there and I'm very thankful for my time . I give Mr. Montrond and his Academy an A+. I'll cherish my black belt and the time I spent at BTKA.

I love this program! I have been at Boston Taekwondo Academy for over 8 years my daughter started at 2.5 years and she is now 11 and a Black Belt! Master Montrond has taught her self confidence, focus, and perseverance. She is eager to go to each and every class and try her very best. My son also started the program when he was 4 , he is now 8 and can't wait to get to class. Master Montrond has a great and supportive staff. They are always eager to help the parents deal with any challenges you and your child may be facing. The focus is not on fighting but on principals of self defense. You can often find him sitting on the mat talking to the kids about stranger danger, peer pressure and bulling. I believe this school is a diamond in the rough and am very lucky to have found it. Boston Taekwondo is the best place to go if you love to have fun! I started this program when I was 7 or 8, and I'm still doing it almost 10 years later. BTKD has made my childhood the best it can be and I'm now a second degree black belt. I've met many of my friends through this program. Master Montrond is a great instructor. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to make it fun. Over, the years, I've learned so much about life and all the great things about it. All I can say is, thank you Master for these many great years, and I recommend this program to everyone!

My son has been a student at Boston Tae Kwon Do for the past 13-14 years.

He began at age 4 as a little dragon and persevered with unbelievable enthusiasm and dedication throughout the years, earning a 2nd degree Black Belt.

Any time he has been asked to write or speak about an experience that has influenced him greatly, he has chosen to express how he has been shaped by Mr. Montrond and the many nurturing, well trained and challenging instructors at this school. This includes portions of his college essays.

His experience at BTKD contributed to many of his successes both athletically and academically. Principles of respect dedication and working to ones potential are ingrained and reinforced in their students to instill an attitude for success in future goals and endeavors.

Our relationship with this school has been a very special one. Our son is now beginning to assist in teaching with his mentors. He has been forever influenced.

As parents we are very grateful and appreciative for what this school has provided to and promoted in our son.

I myself loved the art of taekwondo go learn it somewhere else.

I have had my children in the program for 5 plus years and the school has been nothing but a place and a source of positive support for them. Thier condifence and self esteem has improved tremendously. The instructors are great with kids and know how to work with each personality bring out the best in them. The physical excercies are great for coordination and strenght development. I am happy to be here at the academy since we have tried other places and the kids did not like it as they are having a great time at BTKD. I would highly recommend the investment to any parent who really cares about the physical , emotional and mental well being of their kids. The satff are kind coutrteous and friendly. The school is clean and Master Montrond cares about all his students. He knows all the students on a first name bases which I am impressed.
