The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Bones Jiu Jitsu Academy:
Introduction to BJJ - 1 HR class that serves the purpose of developing our entry level adult students, however experience adults are welcome to brush up on the basics as well. The goal of this class is to build a solid understanding of Jiu Jitsu techniques and movements. In this class there is guided instruction and specific drills to introduce essential movements such as but not limited to, hip escapes, inversions and shots to name a few.
BJJ Fundamentals (Kids) - 45 Min class that is designed to develop our entry level students, however we encourage experiences students to partake in this class to hone their understanding for fundamental techniques. There is no sparring in this class.
BJJ Fundamentals (Adults) - 1 HR class that allows students to focus on techniques that are essential to both beginners and advanced students. During this session students begin to understand how to view Jiu Jitsu, not just as an assortment of technical positions but they begging to connect the concepts and strategies behind the positions.
BJJ (Kids & Adults) — 1.5 HR class which has more in depth analysis of Jiu Jitsu, for students looking to further their Jiu Jitsu knowledge. In this class students cover more advanced and cutting edge techniques. This class also places more emphasis on understanding movements and not just techniques but a further thought into the strategy involved to perform these particular techniques. Sparring is offered in this class, but is not mandatory.
Competition Class (Kids & Adults) - 2 HR class designed to develop our competitors. Through the use of a constantly evolving curriculum, we challenge our althles to push past their mental and physical limitiations to achieve their competitive goals. Through the usage of the program we have developed juvenile and adult world champions as well as numerous Pan American champions.
NoGi Class (Kids & Adults) - 1 HR class services the purpose of allowing our students to build their nogi/submission grappling foundation.
