Bob Davis Karate provides an excellent atmosphere for children and adults to learn and train in taekwondo and other martial arts styles such as judo, jiu-jitsu, Okinawan kobudo, kickboxing and a few more. It is a smaller federation than ITF or WTF but maintains the tradition of what taekwondo was when it was first developed, as a means of self-defense and an art. It is a family-run local business with similar family-run sister schools across the United States, founded by Grandmaster Yon Ho Kang, who played a significant role in the 29th infantry division, where taekwondo developed into maturity, developed the yellow belt, and has taught thousands of students in several countries around the world. Senior Master Bob Davis (8th Dan) is extremely experienced in several martial arts and has personally trained hundreds of black belts in his time. Unlike many other dojangs and dojos, Bob Davis Karate offers all of the martial arts classes at one price. This means you can train in many arts every day (except Sunday) for one affordable price and families also receive a discount so that siblings and sometimes even entire families can have a great time learning and practicing something that could one day save yours or someone else's life. There are also summer camps, homeschool classes during the day, movie nights, and public demonstrations that you can be a part of. There are annual state competitions and every two years the CTF Nationals is held. CTF stands for Chin Mu Kwan Taekwon-Do Federation and literally translates to "True Martial Art Home".
